By partnering with VAH you are sending children to school, providing them with a community atmosphere where they can learn and grow. This organization is passionate about empowering through self sustainability so that the effect of your giving is magnified through the initiative of the children you are supporting !
About Our Gift
The contribution given to VAH is used to purchase school supplies, books, backpacks and school uniforms. Those purchases, when made in Haiti, help local shop owners pay wages to their employees and seamstresses to support their families. When we help pay student tuition, we support teachers and school administrators. Each of these people have income to use in buying food and other necessities.
Every dollar that goes to Haiti to improve the lives of the children we help takes on a life of its own, helping additional hard working people down the line and helping the local economy recover and better sustain the Haitian people. Local transactions nurture and fuel the livelihoods of our brothers and sisters in Haiti.
When you donate to VAH, we will keep you informed of the difference you are making in real people’s lives.
